West Bridge Wharf
Leicester City Council commissioned
a public art project to support a new creative development taking place
within the city
on the site of a former
dye factory.
I was tasked with creating a piece of bright outdoor artwork suitable for all ages. The brief required the inclusion of several key elements surrounding the site which were a cafe / bakery, the
old dye works, the river Soar, the historical West Bridge and a set of modern apartments.
The piece was printed on Foamex boards and measured 8ft x 150ft.
The work has been featured in several design publications since creation.
